Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At Tarashi, we take care to pack and deliver quality jewellery products to our customers. Since jewellery products are delicate and personal-use items, we follow a strict return and refund policy.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Window

Customers must report any issue within 24 hours of delivery.

No return, refund, or replacement request will be accepted after 24 hours from the delivery time as recorded by the courier partner.

2. Eligible Cases for Return / Replacement

Return, replacement, or refund requests will be considered only in the following cases:

  • Product received in damaged condition
  • Product received with manufacturing defect
  • Wrong product delivered
  • Missing product from the package

All claims are subject to verification by the Tarashi support team.

3. Mandatory Box-Opening Video

For any damaged, defective, wrong, or missing product claim, a complete box-opening video is mandatory.

The video must meet the following conditions:

  • Video must start before opening the outer package
  • The sealed package must be clearly visible
  • Shipping label / AWB details must be visible
  • Package opening process must be clearly visible
  • Product condition must be shown clearly
  • Video must be continuous, without cuts, pauses, or editing
  • Issue, damage, defect, or missing item must be clearly visible in the video

Claims without a proper box-opening video may be rejected.

This requirement is necessary to verify whether the product was damaged during shipping, packing, or after delivery.

4. Non-Returnable Cases

Return, refund, or replacement will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Request raised after 24 hours of delivery
  • Box-opening video not provided
  • Box-opening video is edited, unclear, incomplete, or recorded after opening the package
  • Product is used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer
  • Product is returned without original packaging, tags, invoice, or accessories
  • Minor colour variation due to screen or lighting difference
  • Size or design preference issue after delivery
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Customized or made-to-order products
  • Products damaged due to mishandling after delivery
  • Products purchased during clearance sale or final sale, if mentioned

5. How to Raise a Return / Replacement Request

Please share:

  • Order ID
  • Customer name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Clear description of the issue
  • Product photos
  • Complete box-opening video

Our team will review the request and respond within 24–48 business hours.

6. Verification Process

Once the request is received, our team will verify the order details, product images, and box-opening video.

If the claim is approved, we may offer one of the following solutions:

  • Replacement of the same product
  • Replacement with another product of similar value
  • Store credit
  • Refund to original payment method

The final decision will depend on product availability and verification of the issue.

7. Reverse Pickup / Return Shipping

If the claim is approved, we may arrange reverse pickup where courier service is available.

If reverse pickup is not available at the customer’s location, the customer may be asked to ship the product back to our address.

The product must be packed safely to avoid damage during return shipping.

8. Refund Timeline

Once the returned product is received and verified, the eligible refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

After the refund is processed from our side, the amount may take additional time to reflect in the customer’s bank account, card, UPI, or wallet depending on the payment gateway and bank processing timelines.

9. Cancellation Policy

Customers may request order cancellation only before the order is packed, processed, dispatched, or shipped.

Once the order is processed, packed, dispatched, shipped, customized, or handed over to the courier partner, cancellation will not be possible.

If the cancellation request is approved and payment has already been made, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.

10. Important Note

Tarashi reserves the right to approve or reject any return, refund, replacement, or cancellation request after verification.
